What to Expect:Your first visit will be 90 minutes long. You will have the opportunity to share your health concerns, and I will be asking a lot of questions! I may perform a physical exam and/or order laboratory testing if needed. I will talk to you about your diagnosis and personalized treatment options, and answer your questions. The naturopathic doctor-patient relationship is collaborative; your input and questions will always be welcomed.
In order to offer you the best possible care, it’s highly recommended that you book your second 30-minute visit at the same time as your initial visit. The suggested time frame is 2 weeks between initial appointment and second appointment. I will integrate the information from your initial visit and expand on treatment recommendations allowing for continuity of care.
How to Make the Most of Your Appointment:
There are several things you can do to get the most out of your one-on-one time with me.
- Have your paperwork (i.e. your intake forms) completed before you arrive, or even better, email it to me before. If you can’t get them done in advance, please arrive 20 minutes early to your appointment. Naturopathic intake forms tend to be lengthier than most, and you can avoid spending part of your appointment filling out forms by coming prepared!
- Bring copies of any recent bloodwork or imaging results, if you have them.
- Bring a list of your questions and concerns, so that you don’t forget anything.
